Obama-era DHS Chief, Jeh Johnson, Says US Has Crisis at Border

It appears the Democrats were peddling more false information than ever before when it came to the southern border crisis. Stating that it is indeed a national emergency is now an accurate statement as we are beyond our limits. This is all with a 20,000 member caravan on its way to the border right now.

Jeh Johnson, the former Homeland Security Secretary under former President Obama has even stated that this is indeed a national emergency, being that we are at a point of “crisis” at our southern border.

“By anyone’s definition, by any measure, right now we have a crisis at our southern border,” he said.

“According to the commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, there were 4,000 apprehensions in one day alone this past week, and we’re on pace for 100,000 apprehensions on our southern border this month.

“That is by far a greater number than anything I saw on my watch in my three years as Secretary of Homeland Security,” he said.

“There are ways to do this, and you make your case to Congress for why there is a crisis and there is a crisis on our southern border right now and you do it through a conventional reprogramming and you get the resources you need to address the crisis,” he said. “There are answers to this problem, and if we can strip away the politics and the emotion, they can be obtained.”

Johnson is politically unbiased in this appearance, and that allows us to see the situation for what it really is – a national emergency. We have to address this crisis now, as it is an invasion of our country.
