Let’s all just stop and think about this clearly for a second. Whether someone is in support of or against illegal immigration doesn’t matter anymore. Now, what matters is the relevant cost, and the destruction we are putting on ourselves by allowed it to run so rampant.
So far today, illegal immigration has cost the American taxpayers $192 million. By the time you are done reading this article, add another $10 million onto that, and by the end of the day, it will be close to $750 million. This is 250 times the cost of the entire Mueller & FBI Russian election interference probe. So far we have allowed 185,000+ illegal immigrants to cross our southern border this year. Now, we get it, people make all kinds of arguments against this that our waterways will be open if we have a wall, etc., but the argument still stands that 185,000+ have still crossed.
That’s just within the first quarter of the year.
There are almost 26 million illegal aliens in the United States at this point, and we will hit close to $300 billion in total financial loss due to illegal immigrants by the end of the year.
Again, statistics don’t lie. We aren’t even mentioning the types of people crossing or what they’re capable of, but instead just bringing forward the fact that it is absolutely, extremely expensive to just leave our southern border open. This is so much to the tune that we couldn’t even allocate $5 billion in direct funding (which has soon increased to an approved $12.8 billion, thanks to the Pentagon) because we wanted to have a fight between parties instead of actually caring about what is best for our country.
Every single second we are losing $8500. We could easily take that money and eliminate poverty in our country, or take that money and invest it into our schools, infrastructure, or whatever. With anything else it wouldn’t be an absolute waste.
Instead, we are spending it on people who don’t even respect us enough to register as citizens in our country.
Pressure your representatives to resolve this issue now! No matter what party they are, these statistics show that nobody is getting the job done, and it is no longer acceptable to the American people.
